Linda L. Nemec

Linda Lea Nemec, 74, passed away Tuesday March 9, 2021, at home with her loved ones.

Linda Lea Nemec (Gramoll) was born to Lloyd and Lola Gramoll on April 1, 1946, in Goodland, Kansas.  She was raised in Stratton, Colorado.

Linda graduated from Stratton High School and participated in band. After High School, Linda went to Beauty School.  On August 7,1965, Linda married Thomas Patrick Nemec, and they were blessed with six children. Linda finished her working career with The University of Texas in Austin, where she was an Administrative Assistant. Linda loved to read especially anything from Nora Roberts. When she wasn’t reading a book, you would see her doing a crossword puzzle, sewing or crocheting in her spare time. She also enjoyed going to arts and craft shows. Linda also loved her family and grandkids. She always wanted to make sure that her grandchildren had everything they needed.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Llyod and Lola, her brother Larry, her in-laws, her grandson Adam, and her beloved dog Ozzy.

Linda is survived by her husband; her six children, Anne Pepper, Christopher Nemec and girlfriend Kerri Morrison, Michael Nemec and wife Patricia, Kathleen Cargill, Jennifer Nemec, and Patty Fogle and husband Matt. Her grandchildren, Amanda Nemec, Alex Pepper and wife Dana, Kelsey Cargill, Nicholas Nemec, Rebecca Nemec, Ty Fogle, Emma Nemec, Logan Jones and Jessica Nemec. Her brother Lynn Gramoll and wife Nancy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Linda’s name to American Heart Association and to Texas Critter Crusaders.
