Lillian Dobias

Lillian Dobias, 91, passed away on April 9, 2019. She was born in Thrall, Texas on June 5, 1927 to Herman and Louise Lehmann. On January 19, 1948, she married Daniel Dobias.

Lillian was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and being with her family. Lillian will be remembered for her kindness and caring for all her family and friends and for being such a caring and loving mother.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Dobias and his wife Joyce; daughters Barbara Wood and her husband Jim; Monica Roy and her husband Bobby; and her sister, Nora Mae Haag. In addition to 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Dobias, her parents Herman and Louise Lehmann; her brothers, Alfred Lehmann; Arthur Lehmann and sister Esther Wernli.

Visitation will be held at Providence Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with Rosary service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Taylor, Texas with burial immediately following at the Taylor City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matt Maddox, Clint Maddox, Bryan Palmer, Fred Helpert, Justin Towslee and Kyler Towslee
