Leroy Thomas Poldrack

Leroy Thomas Poldrack, 88, of Coupland passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in Round Rock.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, June 29, 2018 at Providence Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 30, 2018 at St. Peter’s Church of Coupland with Pastor Martin Garrison officiating.  Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.

Leroy was born May 30, 1930 to Charlie and Lucy (Bachmayer) Poldrack in Coupland, Texas.  He married Ruby Lee Minzenmayer November 26, 1947 in Taylor, Texas.  He loved being with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  When he was still able to drive his tractors he enjoyed taking the younger ones for rides.  He worked as a pot room supervisor at Alcoa until retirement in 1987.  That is when he continued with farming.  He enjoyed the farm, drinking coffee with his buddies, family fish fry’s, lake trips with the family to Buchanan, and his church.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; one child, Pattie Lee Poldrack; brother, Ruben and sister Corrine Haverland.

He is survived by his son, Larry Poldrack and wife Theresa of Hot Springs Village, AR; two daughters, Dolly Smith and husband Craig of Humble, and Kathy Tidwell and husband, David of Austin; five grandchildren, Sara Jacoby and husband, Scott; Brian Poldrack; Lindsay Trepagnier and husband, Jeremy; Raelyn Delgado and husband, Josh; and Kristin Tidwell; six great grandchildren, Benjamin and Madelynn Jacoby, Connor and Tanner Trepagnier; Jaden and Levi Delgado; brother, Melvin; and sister, Lois Lenz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brian Poldrack, Scott Jacoby, Jeremy Trepagnier, Josh Delgado, Randy Minzenmayer, Jerry Stefek, Terry Poldrack, Doug Weise, Bradley Lenz, and Hunter Poldrack.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Denney Poldrack and The Coffee Buddies.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter’s Church of Coupland.
