Kristine Louise Nelson

Kristine Louise Nelson, age 80, of Thrall, Texas, passed away on March 10, 2024.

She was born on May 25, 1943, to Foster Towle (Sr.) and Mabel Louise Chandler at Salem Hospital in Massachusetts, and was a 1961 graduate of Marblehead High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold G. Nelson Sr,; and stepson, David S. Nelson.

She is survived by good friends, Leann and husband, John Messenger, of Marblehead; Cheryl and husband, Darren Hall, of Thrall; brother, Foster Towle Chandler Jr. and wife, Erin of Killington, VT; stepchildren, Mike Nelson and wife, Carol of Conroe, TX; Harold G. Nelson Jr. and wife, Ruth Ann of Oatmeal, TX; and Melanie and David Heine of Thrall, TX.

She was active with the Marblehead girl scouts and the girl’s softball program.  She was employed by the local Ford dealership as a bookkeeper/office manager for many years.  She married Harold G. Nelson Sr. on March 14,1983 and moved to Thrall, TX.  She was an active member of the local Red Hat Society and former member of the Thrall VFD women’s auxiliary.

No services will be held in accordance with her wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Williamson County Humane Society .
