Kelly Cage, 36 of Taylor, TX received her wings on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
Kelly Cage “Little Red”, Little Gladys, was born December 17, 1984 in Austin, TX to Wilbert and Mae Pearl (Roberson) Cage. Kelly graduated from Taylor High School in 2002, where she was a member of the Taylor High Steppers and the Upward Bound Program. Kelly as baptized at a young age and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, where she was a part of the “Smokin’ Guns” choir led and directed by Pastor Paul Smith. Her favorite song was “Tell Them I’m A Child Of God”.
Kelly Cage is preceded in death by her mother Mae Pearl (Roberson) Cage, grandmothers Gladys (Bigmama) Houston and Emma Cage Kellough, grandfathers Jim Cage Sr. and Willis Kellough, cousin Randy “Train” Coulter, and son and daughter Gemini and Genesis.
Kelly Cage will forever live in the hearts of her father Wilbert Cage and wife Debra (Anderson) Cage, sons Isaiah Cage, Elijah Baker, and Ezekiel Cage, daughters E’Gyptt Sims and Trinity (Sims) Roberson, sister Cherlita “Niki” Thomas (Jerod Sr.), nephews DeAndre’ Roberson, Jerod Thomas Jr. (JayyTee), and Omarien Thomas, niece Anayah Thomas, great nephew Grayson Roberson, and a magnitude of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
