Jovita Olguin Diaz

Jovita Olguin Diaz age 63 left us on Sunday January 21, 2018 with family by her side in Round Rock, Texas.

Jovita was born on April 30, 1954 in Taylor, Texas to Placido and Santos Olguin. She enjoyed life, music and spending time with her family. She had this big spark for life that could light up a room when she entered. Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter and son in-law Cindy and Pete Ochoa of Georgetown, daughter Donna Flores of Taylor and Son Alfred Flores Jr. also of Taylor.

17 Grandchildren: Grandson and wife Ruben and Brianna Flores, Grandson Peter Ochoa, Granddaughter and Husband Erica O. and Johnny Garcia, Granddaughter and Husband Monica and Juvy Torres all of Georgetown. Granddaughter and Fiance  Kimberly Flores and James Vega of Taylor, Grandson and wife Jacob and Ally Jensen Manor, Texas, Granddaughter and fiancée Tiffany Jensen and Fred Galban of Thorndale, Granddaughter and Husband Brittany and Josue De Hoyos, Grandson Christian Jensen, Grandson Jeremiah Jensen, Granddaughter and fiancée Sheyenne Jensen and Jadon Reyes, Grandson James Jensen, Granddaughter Audri Liane Flores, Grandson Nathan Flores all of Taylor, Granddaughters Jailyn Flores, Triniti Flores and Paige Flores all of Bloomfield, New Mexico.

16 great-grandchildren:  Amia, Brian, Caylee, Elaina, Skylar, Josue, Monica, Zayden, Serenity, Marina, Gilbert, Eric, Amie, Elizabeth, JuJu and Julian.

5 great-great grandchildren: Dre, Leo, Eliana, Isaiah and Zoel.

Jovita is also survived by her sister and brother in-law Alfonza and Joe Lito Flores , sister Janie Olguin, sister Irma Olguin all of Taylor, sister and brother in-law Alice and Moses Cruz, sister and brother in-law Cecelia and Gabriel Alba all of Georgetown.

Brother and sister in-law Rudy and Belinda Olguin of Jarrell, brother and sister in-law Richard and Isabel Olguin of Bartlett, brother and sister in-law Placido Jr. and Frances Olguin and brother and Raymond Olguin and his fiancée Marylou Flores all of Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her father Placido Olguin, her mother Santos Olguin Lopez, her sister Emily Olguin and her sister Susie Barrera.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Thursday January 25, 2018 at Providence Funeral Home.

Memorial services will take place at Providence Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Friday January 26, 2018.
