John Louis Bergstrom, Iii

J.L. Bergstrom, III (Lou) passed away Monday, August 7, 2017.

Lou was born August 30, 1927 in Waco, TX.  He married Lou Brice in Uvalde, TX and lived in Taylor, TX since 1956.  He retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety.  Lou served in the U.S. Navy at the end of WWII and was recalled for service during the Korean conflict.

Lou is survived by his wife, daughter Gayle Lewis, son Jay (J.L., IV), daughter-in-law Julia, and grandchildren Jack and Jenna.  He also leaves behind many friends who were very dear to him.

Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Providence Funeral Home.
