Joe was born on October 08, 1948, in Taylor, Texas to Lucas and Meme Alderete of Taylor, Texas. If you ever had the privilege to meet Joe, then you knew that this man was full of life, love, strength, and stories. Joe is best known for his crazy sense of humor, it was almost certain that when around him, you were smiling or laughing until it hurt. He loved gardening, watching football, and drinking Lonestar in his chair. He faithfully spent his Sunday mornings in the pews of his church. His sense of humor was out of this world, everyone who knew him will have not only a funny story he shared but a memory that will last forever. However, the love he had for his grandchildren was passionate. He gave them all nicknames that made absolutely no sense to anyone else, but himself and them, which made it even more meaningful. Our hearts are at peace to know he is now with his wife Julia, whom he loved unconditionally.
