With deepest sorrow, we announce that Jimmy Joseph Perez Jr., aged 29, our most beloved son, brother, uncle and best friend passed on Thursday, August 26, 2021.
Jimmy Joseph was born on April 21, 1992. Those who knew Jimmy Joseph understood how amazing and special he was, and how fiercely he loved his family. Jimmy Joseph’s two favorite hobbies were fishing and playing pool at the Officer’s Lounge in Georgetown. He graduated from Rockdale High School in 2010. He was one year away from earning his bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies.
Jimmy Joseph is preceded by grandma Janie Mertz, grandfather Felipe Perez Jr., great grandma Elsie Fernandez, great grandfather Chester Vidal Sr., uncle Ignacio H Cruz, and Uncle John Fernandez.
Jimmy Jospeh is survived by his mother Beth Louise Vidal, His Father Jimmy Perez Sr. and wife Brandy Perez, His sister Megan Lynn Perez and her boyfriend Zachary Manzanero and their daughter Harlee Shay Manzanero; His Grandmother Santos Perez, and Grandfathers James Mertz and Chester Vidal, Jr.; as well as Great-Grandmother Ruby L. Vidal. Followed by numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm, with the Rosary starting at 7pm, on Thursday September 2, 2021, at Providence Funeral Home. The Funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Granger, Texas.
