Jesus Vidal Ramirez

Jesus “Jessie” Vidal Ramirez, age 74, of Rockdale, TX passed away on Thursday, April 9th, 2020 early in the morning.

He was born in Seminole, TX, on March 3, 1946, to Ignacio and Petra Ramirez. Jessie was a carpenter for many years, as well as a custodian and bus driver for Seminole and Thrall ISDs. His hobbies included bingo, socializing with friends, walking his chihuahua Princess Jasmine, and being an overall jokester.

Jessie is survived by his wife of 38 years, Imelda; children Jessie Ramirez Jr, Terry Ramirez (Victor), Iris Guerra-Tone, Anibal Guerra Jr, Rene Ramirez (Stephanie), Christina Voytko (Shane), and April Foster (Chris); grandchildren: Johnny Cruz, Devyn Tone, Christian Tone, Hunter Guerra (Katrina), Alex Guerra, Brice Tone, Isabel Voytko, Dekota Guerra, Diana Voytko, Ilyana Lucio, Luis Lucio, Elvira Foster, and Preston Guerra; great-grandchildren: Emira and Leon Guerra, Gracelynn and Wylden Seider; siblings: Gloria Gonzalez, Manuel Ramirez, Andrea Martinez, Janie Hernandez, and Josie DeHoyos; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ramirez will be available to view from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2020. A Celebration of Jesus' Life will be held privately and will be live streamed via Providence Funeral Home Facebook Page beginning at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 16.
