Jessie R Dominguez, 94, of Taylor, Texas, passed away peacefully with his family alongside him and went to heaven to be with our Lord on Saturday, December 31, 2022.
Jessie was born on April 28, 1928, in McNeil, Texas, to Salome and Adela Dominguez. Jessie was one of eight children. He went to 9 th grade at Round Rock High School and left school to help support his family at an early age. Jessie then met the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen, “the love of his life”, Ascension Perez. They married on March 28,1948 in Round Rock, Texas and enjoyed 66 years of marriage. They had 8 children, John, Diana, Leonardo, Rose, Antonio, Nelda, Ruben, and Gregory. He always made time for his children and maintained an amazing relationship with them throughout their adulthood. He worked for Austin White Lime, McNeil, Texas, as a mechanic for 46 years, his love and passion as a mechanic was missed dearly when he retired in 1992. They then moved from Round Rock, Texas, to Taylor, Texas, in his later days of his life. He spent his time with family, friends and with his grandchildren & great-grandchildren, enjoying dancing, watching baseball, and having many family- fiesta’s. He had a passion for crossword puzzles in his leisure time and of course taking care of his property so others could enjoy and stay when needed.
Jessie was the monarch of our Dominguez family, he was firm believer in God and he lead, protected and provided for his family. He believed that you work hard, love everyone no matter who they are, treat people with respect and never give up. He opened his doors to many people over the years and was a hero to many people that he touched their lives. He was a “True” Gentleman and believer of God, passionate about family, loved unconditionally, One of Kind. He will truly be missed, but not forgotten.
