Jerry Wayne Sterling, Sr.

Jerry Wayne Sterling, 73, of Port Lavaca, Texas died Thursday, December 27, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He was the husband of Nancy Sterling. They shared 53 years together.

Jerry was born in Amarillo, Texas on August 21, 1945 to William Lacey Sterling and Lucille Crews. He attended Chilton High School in Chilton, Tx and graduated May 21,1964 . He was a Master electrician for 35 years.

He is survived by his mother, Jean Sterling, wife Nancy Sterling, daughter Billie Jean Spacek, and son Jerry Wayne Sterling II; he is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters. He is predeceased by his Father W.L. Sterling, his mother Lucille Crews, his daughters Barbara & Thresa Sterling.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00am Saturday, January 5, 2019, Providence Funeral Home, Taylor, Texas.
