Jean Hughes Gaulding

Jean Hughes Gaulding was born December 1, 1934, in the Beaukiss Community near Taylor, Texas. She passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Daniel Hughes and Irma Ruth (Jarmon) Hughes; her siblings, Lillian Clark, Gladys Mott, Ted Hughes, Winston Hughes and Layton Hughes; her husbands, Lowell Berggren and John Gaulding; and her nephews, David Hughes, Stanley Hill, and Ricky Berggren.

Jean was passionate about her family and loved them deeply. She would jump at the chance to spend time with her grandsons and great-grandson, and was their favorite playmate when they were little. Jean was full of life and enjoyed cooking, golfing, traveling, spending time at the lake on the boat, enjoying close friends and family, and just having fun. Jean was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, and she will truly be missed by all.

Jean is survived by her two children and their spouses, Barbara and Ron Beaman, and Kendall and Linda Berggren; her three grandsons, Chad Wyrick, Sam Berggren and Connor Berggren; her great grandson, Brayden Wyrick; her sister-in law, Dot Hughes; and her nieces, nephews and their spouses, Bernie and Dorothy Hill, Darrell and Peggy Mott, Nelda and Alvaro DeHoyos, Kay and Dennis Hamann, Jean Johnson, Danny and Kathy Hughes, Harvey Hughes, Terry and Colleen Hughes, Vicki and John Hanacik, Randy and Monique Berggren, Pamela and Edward Scheffer, and Rana and Jason Doran.
