Jay Eliseo Ochoa, of Austin TX, was called to be with his Heavenly Father on January 29, 2021.
Jay was born in Austin TX on September 22, 2000 to Eliseo Ochoa and the late Judy Mercer. Jay was then raised in Round Rock TX, where he attended school and met his high school sweetheart Ruby Max Alley, and so many friends, one being his best friend Jorge (Corky) Gonzalez. Jay was the happiest baby and grew to be a sweet, loving, caring young man. Jay was full of life and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed help, he had such a big heart.
Jay was preceded in death by his mother Judy Mercer, grandparents, Domingo Valverde Jr, Virginia Flores Valverde, Mr & Mrs. Rev. Manuel Ochoa, and one aunt Myra Valverde.
Jay is survived by his father Eliseo Ochoa (fiance Mary), his girlfriend Ruby Max Alley, his sisters; Bernice (Noe) Hernandez, Kay Espinal, Elizabeth (Donald) Soloya, and Savannah Stiba. Brothers; Rocky (Araceli) Ochoa, Eli Ochoa, Cary Mercer, Derek Mercer, and Caleb (Elizabeth) Mercer. Aunts; Magdalena "Nene" Martinez, Amanda (Chris) Vega, Vicky Lee, Paula Ramirez, Andrea Valverde-Branier. Uncles; Elias (Mary) Ochoa, David (Elizabeth) Ochoa, Manuel (Patricia) Ochoa, Martin Valverde, Domingo “Tres” Valverde lll, and Michael Valverde. And grandmother Gloria Valverde.
Jay had numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as numerous cousins and many friends. We will miss Jay and forever love him, and although we are saddened of his loss, we will cherish the precious memories we have of him, but have peace and comfort in knowing that he is in a better place, a beautiful place, not just with our Heavenly Father, but with his mother that he loved and missed dearly.
