Jason Allen Kelley

Jason Allen Kelley, 38, of Rockdale, was taken to be with the good Lord on August 18 ^th , 2019.

Jason was born in Norwalk, Ohio on September 24 ^th , 1980. He grew up in Arlington and Granger Texas and was on the Granger football teams from junior high through high school. He graduated from Granger High School in 1999. After high school, Jason worked with his stepdad, Ronald, in construction. Jason was very proud to work with him, and his stepdad was also very proud to work with Jason. He always went out of his way to make his mom and stepdad happy and proud, and his mom and stepdad were always very proud of all his accomplishments. He made friends with everyone he met and was always the first one to crack a joke and to make someone laugh. He was very close to his mom, stepdad, sister, Danielle, and niece, Arianna. He would put their wants and needs before any of his own.

Jason is survived by mother Karen Bauer; stepfather, Ronald Crump; sister, Danielle Zycha; niece, Arianna Zycha; grandparents, JW Kelley and Cheri Kelley; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He will be loved and missed always and forever. Until we meet again.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 6, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Providence Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
