We celebrate the life and love of our beloved Billy Rios, born Guillermo Alberto Rios Ramirez in the Comarca Lagunera of Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. Billy was 41 when the King of Kings called his spirit to his Kingdom on Sunday, February 9, 2020.
Billy was the second born child to Ernestina Ramirez and Guillermo Rios Salas and was welcomed to a loving family as the first paternal grandson on Saturday, June 3 rd , 1978. He was a first generation migrant and enjoyed visiting his childhood homelands of Lerdo, Durango throughout his lifetime. Billy was a kind soul, caring son, tender brother, loyal friend, and a loving father. He lived a fulfilling life defined by his own terms and loved making others laugh. His smile was unforgettable, and he shared many joyful, heartfelt, and melancholy moments with those that he shared his life with.
He is survived by his beautiful daughter, Sofia K. Rios, precious mother Ernestina Ramirez (Alberto Jesus Perez), benevolent father Guillermo Rios Salas (Elsa Aguirre), sisters Laura K. Rios-Ramirez (Alvaro Ramirez), Dinora Ramirez (Kevin Hernandez), Marisol Rios, brother Guillermo Rios, nieces and nephews Azalea, Devin, Huitzi, Liam, Ketzal, Adrian, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved dog, Harley. He is now held in the light of our Creator God alongside his cherished paternal abuelitos, Francisco “Kiko” Rios, Marina “Popitita” Salas de Rios, maternal abuelos, Porfiria “Pila” Ramirez, Ramon Ramirez, uncle Raymundo Treviño, cousins Reynaldo and Ruben Treviño.
Rosary services and open casket viewing will be on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos Parker Blvd NW, Taylor, TX 76574.
Catholic Farewell Mass will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 10:00 am with a Celebration of Life Reception to follow 11:15 am St. Mary’s Church 408 Washburn St. Taylor, TX 76574.

Celebramos la vida y el amor de nuestro querido Billy Rios, nacido Guillermo Alberto Rios Ramirez en la Comarca Lagunera de Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. Billy tenia 41 años cuando el Rey de Reyes lo llamo a su Reino el Domingo, 9 de Febrero, 2020.
Billy era el segundo nacido a Ernestina Ramirez y Guillermo Rios Salas y fue bienvenido a una familia amorosa como el primer nieto paternal el Sabado, 3 de Junio, 1978. Era migrante de primera generación y siempre disfruto durante su vida el poder regresar a las tierras de su infancia en Lerdo, Durango. Billy fue una alma cariñosa, hijo elogioso, buen hermano, amigo fiel, y un amoroso padre. El vivió una vida plena definida por sus propios términos y le encantaba hacer reir a los de mas. Su sonrisa es inolvidable y compartio muchos momentos alegres, profundos, y melancólicos con aquellos con los que compartio su vida.
Es sobrevivido por su hermosa hija, Sofia K. Rios, venerable madre, Ernestina Ramirez (Alberto Jesus Perez), bondadoso padre, Guillermo Rios Salas (Elsa Aguirre), hermanas Laura K. Rios-Ramirez (Alvaro Ramirez), Dinora Ramirez (Kevin Hernandez), Marisol Rios, hermano Guillermo Rios, sobrinas y sobrinos, Azalea, Devin, Huitzi, Liam, Ketzal Adrian, numeros@ tias/tios, primas/primos y su querida perrita, Harley. Ahora se encuentra cobijado por la luz del Gran Creador junto a sus amados abuelitos paternales Francisco “Kiko” Rios, Marina “Popitita” Salas de Rios, abuelos maternales Porfiria “Pila” Ramirez, Ramon Ramirez, su tio Raymundo Treviño, primos Reynaldo y Ruben Treviño.
El rosario y visitacion de ataud abierto se realizara el Viernes, 14 de Febrero de 6-8pm en Providence Funeral Home, 807 NW Carlos Parker Blvd., Taylor, TX 76574.
Misa de despedida Catolica será el Sabado, 15 de Febrero, 10am con una Recepcion de Celebracion de Vida inmediatamente después a las 11:15am en la Iglesia de St. Mary’s, 408 Washburn St., Taylor, TX 76574.
