Gregoria Denise Tworek passed away June 30th, 2020. She is survived by her husband Jeffrey Tworek and children Lauren, Gavin, and Ethan Tworek. Also surviving are her parents Andrew and Macaria Gonzales along with her brothers Andrew Jr., Carlos (Amanda), and Adrian (Briana), and her 11 nieces and nephews.
Denise was born on November 27th, 1971 in Taylor, Texas and attended St Mary’s Catholic School until 8th grade. During Denise’s youth she was involved in many sports but found her true love playing baseball/softball, a passion her family shared. Denise and her brothers spent many hours at the ball field while their father and mother played softball and then more hours as they played the sport as kids. All four siblings share a passion for softball and played into their adult years. After graduating from Taylor High School, Denise attended Kilgore Junior College spending a year and a half there. Denise voluntarily left college to come home and help her family during a time that her father was sick. This selfless act is a trait that defined Denise through the years. Always willing to help and volunteer her time to benefit others. Denise took a job at Motorola and that is where she eventually met her future husband Jeffrey Tworek. Years later Jeffrey learned that she might have marked him as someone she would eventually get to know better after seeing him at work one time. Luck would have it that she had friends that Jeff knew from his youth so it was that connection that allowed Jeff and Denise to meet and strike a friendship that led to marriage. Jeffrey and Denise married on January 25, 2003 and had 3 children. Denise poured her love and caring into their 3 children and they all have special qualities of hers. After staying home for 10 years to raise the children Denise started working at Pflugerville ISD at Dearing Elementary working with the special needs children. Denise touched the lives of many kids but her caring and support for those children really allowed them to feel comfortable in the school. Denise enjoyed spending time with her friends playing Bunco, working on various crafts like Jewelry making, cheering for her beloved Dallas Cowboys on Sundays, and watching movies with her children.
