Gloria Bauer

Age 82, passed away on May 30, 2018 born to Jose Romo and Barbara (Romo) Maldonado, on July 4, 1935. Survived by brother Anthony Maldonado, sister’s Lydia Lawson, Linda Dimerling, Juanita Lopez, daughter’s Karen Bauer, Sheren Hager, son’s James Bauer, Thomas Bauer, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. She was a very loving person, wonderful mother and a very proud grandmother and great grandmother, family was a very important part of her life. Everywhere she went she touched the lives of everyone she met with her beautiful smile and kind heart. It was an honor to have her as our Sister, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She will be missed very much. Until We Meet Again.

The Broken Chain

We little knew the day that

God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly,

In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you

But you didn’t go alone.

For part of us went with you

The day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories.

Your love is still our guide,

And though we cannot see you

You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken

And nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one

The chain will link again.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Emerald Hills Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Emerald Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Emerald Hills Cemetery.
