Geneva (Gigi) Lindemann, 76, of Granger, Texas (formerly of Bartlett, Texas), passed away peacefully at home in Granger on Thursday, December 22, 2022. She was born on December 19 th , 1946. Geneva and her husband (of 40 years when he passed) moved to Bartlett in 1971, and in 2022, she moved to Granger, Texas, where she spent her final months.
Geneva was a giving soul who delivered Meals on Wheels food to the elderly and disabled. People around Bartlett could see her coming on her 3-wheeled bike. She loved helping others and was the treasurer for the Lions Club. She served there with pride for over 10 years, winning several awards for her excellent service. She loved Mexican food and traveling with the Reyna’s, her adopted family for more than 13 years. Geneva will be deeply missed!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Jean Stapleton Barnett; her husband, Edward (Butch) Lindemann; and her only brother, Lawrence A. Barnett.
Geneva is survived by her sisters, Pam Goolby (spouse Frank) from Huntsville, Texas, and Tina Jarkko (spouse Tom) from Fitchburg, MA. She is also survived by her only son, Edward (Ed) Lindemann (spouse Angelita) from Hutto, Texas; one grandson, Christian Alexander Lindemann (fiancé Tannia Osorio); and one great-granddaughter, Nami Itzel Lindemann, from Spring, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos G. Parker N.W., Taylor, with burial to follow immediately at Machu Family Cemetery, Granger.
