Garry 'Gene' Sefcik

Garry “Gene” Sefcik of Taylor died on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Gene was born on June 16, 1938 in Taylor to Frank and Bessie (Perry) Sefcik.

Gene married Dellois Carrin Becker of Thorndale on March 9, 1958. They were married for 61 years and raised two children, while residing in Taylor. Gene worked at the City National Bank before going into business for himself as a builder in the area for 20 years.

Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Dellois; his parents; his son, Jason Sefcik; and a brother Kenneth Sefcik. He is survived by his daughter Tammi (Randy) Stefanowicz; grandchildren Luke Kaspar, John Kaspar, and Savannah Kaspar, and five nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00PM on December 18, 2024 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. Funeral services will follow immediately after the visitation in the Providence Chapel.

Pall Bearers will be Luke Kaspar, John Kaspar, Canyon Murrah, David Sefcik, Dale Caffey, and Tom Billingsley.
