Francisco “Frank” Valdez, 62, of Taylor, Texas passed away October 15, 2022. He was born October 10, 1960, in Taylor, TX to the late Crespin Valdez Sr. and Margarita Rendon Valdez.
Frank was employed at Intercraft majority of his career, until they closed their doors. He was a huge fan of sports. Cheering on the Cowboys and the Longhorns were his favorite. He also was a Lakers fan. He loved his family and friends and always had a wonderful sense of humor. Frank also loved to dance and listen to music.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Ruben Valdez and Stephen Valdez and his sister Gloria Valdez Gibson; his brother in laws Ronald “Boogie” Gibson and Willie “Joe” Sledge.
Survivors include his sons Domingo Valdez (Ashley), Francisco “Frankie” Valdez Jr., and his daughter Christina Valdez Rodriquez (Richard); grandchildren include Summer Amber Valdez, Carson Michael Valdez, Rylee Renae Rodriquez, Ryder Liam Rodriquez, Ethan Shaw, Tyler Shaw, Jaxon Shaw, and Carlee Shaw; sister Cristina Valdez Sledge (Willie “Joe”); brother Crespin Valdez Jr., (Donna); and numerous nieces/nephews.
A memorial service is to be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 28, 2022 at Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos Parker Blvd N.W., Taylor.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Domingo Valdez, Francisco “Frankie” Valdez, Jr., Brandon “Lance” Valdez, and Brent Lawson Valdez.
We would love for those attending the Memorial Service to wear their favorite Cowboy or Longhorn gear.
