Frank Griffin, Sr.

Frank Griffin, Sr. was born on November 12, 1937, to Garfield, Sr. and Henrietta Griffin in Smithfield, TX.

On Monday, November 16, 2020, he departed this life at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Grapevine, TX.

Frank is the father of eight children, five sons, and three daughters.

He was preceded in death by his son Frank Griffin, Jr. on July 28, 2012 and is survived by seven children: LaVerne Griffin-Davis, Debra Griffin, Gilbert Griffin, Hazel Griffin, Darrell Griffin, Ray Griffin, and David Griffin. Eight grandchildren, Nicholas Davis, Megan Davis, Olivia Griffin, Kendrick Young, Denise Griffin, Vanessa Griffin, Tyler Griffin, and Myles Griffin. One son-in-law and four daughters-in-law: Dana Joseph Davis, Shelly Griffin, Sheron Griffin, Corie Griffin, and Cristy Griffin. Five siblings including QT Griffin, Earline Richardson, Raymond Griffin, Garfield Griffin, Jr., and Willie Lee Griffin along with many relatives and friends.

As Frank Griffin accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior on December 23, 2004, he was dearly loved and will be missed.
