Frances Komandosky Kincl

Frances Komandosky Kincl, 102, of Taylor passed away September 24, 2020. She was born

February 21, 1918 in Taylor, to Rudolph Komandosky and Helen Komandosky Quebe.

Frances helped her parents with farming in her early years. In 1941 she married Frank Kincl and helped set up Kincl Hardware Co. in the iconic Kincl Building at Second and Talbot Streets in downtown Taylor. After Kincl Hardware closed she and her husband moved to the Gulf Coast and upon his retirement they returned to Taylor. She worked at various mercantile shops and was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir. She was also an active member of the Taylor Czech Chorus.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister Elizabeth Loessin Vitek, her half -brothers Joe and Richard Quebe, and her half- sister Helen Johnson. Survivors include her nieces Lynn Phillips and Nancy Seals; nephews Leslie Loessin of Granger and Mike Quebe of Taylor; cousins Ed and Joe Komandosky and David Lefler; and numerous great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor followed by a graveside service at 12 noon at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Taylor.
