Frances Mae Polasek Carpenter, 97, passed away peacefully in Llano, Texas, Thursday, January 2, 2020. Frances was born in Taylor, Texas on March 12, 1922 to John and Agnes Polasek.

She was a hardworking, outgoing, strong spirited woman who loved and raised five children; 2 sons and 3 daughters as well as loved and helped raised her grandchildren.

Frances lived a very full and active life and was a very skilled seamstress by trade and she loved making beautiful quilts for her family and friends. She enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, fun sports and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters; Sharon K. Holloman(daughter), Morgan Paige and Hailey Elizabeth Falk (great granddaughters).

Frances is survived by her sons, Thomas S. Carpenter and Chester S. Carpenter; daughters, Shirley E. Cox and Rita J. Penny and numerous grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Providence Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on January 7, 2020 at 2:00PM at Providence Funeral Home.

Burial immediately following at Taylor City Cemetery.
