Florinda Moreno Vera

Florinda Vera, 64, of Taylor, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 8, 2020.

Florinda Vera was born on June 20, 1956 in Taylor to Bonefacio Moreno and Martha Alderete. She grew up with five older sisters, two older brothers, one younger sister, and three younger brothers. Florinda attended school in Taylor. She is married to her husband of 26 years and has 5 children: Patricia, Juan, Aurora, Teresa and Martha. Florinda loved all her family and was a great wife, mother and grandmother.

Florinda is predeceased by both her parents, two brothers (Alex and Arturo), one sister (Juanita), one grandson (Paul Eric) and one granddaughter (Brittany).

Florinda is survived by her husband of 26 years, Ramiro Segura; her children Patricia Moreno (Leonardo), Juan Garza (Kiyita), Aurora Garza (Manuel), Teresa Lartey (Sidney), Martha Moreno (Derrick); Sisters, MaryLou Pevehouse (Tom), Sylvia Lechler (Alvaro), Angelita Rodriguez (Robert), Eslinda Moraida and Blanca Miller (Justin); Brothers, Oscar Rodriguez (Lydia), Moses Moreno (Paula) and Bonefacio Moreno (Caroline); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Jerusalem Pentecostal Church from 9AM to 10AM on Friday August 14, 2020 then the funeral Mass will follow at 10AM. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
