Reflection of life….

Evelyn Lynn Trejo was born on March 21, 1960 to the late Celestina Trejo and the late Edward Lawrence Black. Evelyn attended Granger High School, participating in the Pep squad, played tennis, and was part of the Class of 1980. On April 10, 1974, Evelyn was baptized into Christ under the leadership of Booker T. Williams Jr. and she was a member of the Church of Christ. She was participated in church chorus Lover of Gospel Singing. She enjoyed her life to the fullest and loved giving big birthday parties. Evelyn was well known thought her life for loving and caring for others. She had a special love for children and considered many her very own with many who referred to her as “Aunt Evie”. She taught by example of how to live in peace with all. She would share and serve others never wanting anything in return . On May 1,1986, Evelyn was united in Holy Matrimony to her husband of 33 plus years Romeo Goods.

Beyond Heavenly Gates Await ….

Her only son Larry Eugene, Her parents her paternal and maternal grandparents; 2 brothers Herman Daniel and Lewis Ray; and 2 nephews Darius Eugene and Patric Allen.

Cherished Memories…..

For Better or Worse for Richer or Poor In Sickness and in Health for Forsaken all others, Romeo Goods upheld his wife to the highest level ever until the end of her life. Precious Memories he will always cherish forever. Evelyn once shared life with Celestina’s pack 4, now leaving 2 with a broken heart but their love will never part: Paul Trejo (Debora) of Bartlett and Ramona Trejo-Clark (Charles) of Temple; special niece and nephew she called her own, Candus Taylor of Houston and Ramonce Taylor of Temple; the loves of her life were her nieces and nephews Cornelius, Warren, Patrice, Victoria, Latoya, LaTisha, Alyson, Tenesha, Paul Jr, Mia, Kenneth, Christa, Michelle, Christie, AJ, Charla, and Cedric; 29 great nieces and nephews; 2 great great nieces and nephews; 3 godchildren Shay, Ashley, and Junior and their 9 children; aunts Maria Rector and Velma Trejo of San Antonio; lifelong best friend/sister Nell Williams of Granger; sister-in-law Yvonne Goods of Hutto; brother-in-law Jerome Goods (Teresa) of Atlanta, GA; special friend Mrs. Erma White of Granger; and many other relatives and friends.

Due to the orders given by Gov. Abbott about restrictions of social gatherings, services will be invitation only. Mrs. Goods will be available to view at the funeral home during business hours beginning Thursday, March 19.
