Ethel Elizabeth Spinn

Ethel Elizabeth Spinn, resident of Thorndale, Texas, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at the Elgin Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 80.

She was born in Etowah, Tennessee on December 19, 1938.

Ethel is preceded in death by her brother, Dillard Buckner; sister, Mary Crowder; and grandson, Jason Peterson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, James Spinn; daughter, Patricia Rodriguez and husband Juan; son, Jay Humbert and wife Tammy and son John; Tammy’s son, Darren Keith Humbert and wife Shelly, their children Ashley, Justin, and Braeden; stepchildren Deborah Peterson and husband Blaine, daughter Jillian, and son Dillon; Keith Spinn; and Craig Spinn and his wife Kelle, daughters Megan and Kristen; sisters Charlotte & Judy; and brother, John.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Providence Funeral Home from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 13, 2019 at St. Paul Lutheran Chapel, 401 W. 7 ^th St, Taylor, Texas, with Rev. Dr. George R. Qualley officiating. Burial will follow at Thorndale City Cemetery.
