Ernesto Rodriguez

Ernest G. Rodriguez, age 72 of Taylor Tx. passed away 11/22/19 in Georgetown Tx. after battling cancer.

He was born in Boerne Tx on July 29, 1947 to Joe S. & Victoria Rodriguez and he was married to Jeannine Rodriguez, who all preceded him in death. He worked for Alcoa in Rockdale Tx as a Crane Operator for 35 years before retiring in 2005. He proudly served the United States Army.

He was also preceded in death by his sister Delores Gonzales of Boerne Tx and a granddaughter Rebecka Welton of Taylor.

He is survived by his daughter Sophia (Mark) Nesby of Arden NC and his son Nicholas (Melissa) Rodriguez of Leander Tx.  His brother Samuel (Diane) Rodriguez of Kerrville Tx, Christina (Mike) Gonzales of Boerne, Tx  Esther (Richard) Garza of San Antonio Tx.  His grand-daughters Kristen (Cody) Mathews of Fairview NC, Madison & Mackenzie Rodriguez of Leander, Rachel (Brett) Allison of Hutto, Holliy Welton of Washington. Great-grand daughter Aria Mathews of Fairview NC, and grandsons Daniel Welton of Austin,  Joshua (Lacey) DeVaul of Hattiesburg MS, Josiph (ShiAnne), & Aren Welton of Washington. His step children SteveAnne DeVaul and Alan (Kim) Welton, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held Tuesday 11/26/19 at 11 am at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor Tx with burial to immediately follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
