Emma Wells, age 76 passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021.

Emma was an extraordinary loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She married the love of her life Herman E. Wells (Buddy/Sarg.) when she was a young teenager. Together they raised five children in the Austin area. In 1987 they bought a home in Thrall, Texas where they continued the remainder of their lives consisting of many happy years. Emma worked at Taylor Care Center in Taylor, Texas for more than twenty-five years as an aid/laundry attendant. She was loved and adored by all her coworkers. Emma lived spending time with her grandchildren, homemaking, yardwork and so much more.

She is preceded in death by her husband Herman Wells, daughter Kathy Samilpa and son Thomas Wells.

Emma is survived by her sons, William David Wells of Thrall, Jerry Wells and wife Julia of Thorndale, and Leonard Wells, and wife Cindi of Georgetown. Six Grandchildren; Michael and Julie Wells of Dime Box, Megan Wells and Mason Crump of Rockdale, Amber and Stacie Wells of Rockdale, Hannah and Kaden Roberts of Thorndale, Emily Wells and Maverick McCoy of Taylor, and Stevie and wife Roquel Samilpa of Austin, as well as many great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, August 6, 2021 Providence Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Red Rock Cemetery.
