Eileen Joyce Shiller Dickerson

Eileen Joyce Shiller Dickerson, age 63, passed away quietly at her home on December 4, 2017 after a long illness.

She was born in Taylor, Texas to Lumie and Viola Shiller, and married Alton Lavoie Dickerson on June 24, 1995. She was employed by the Teacher Retirement System of Texas and then the State Board of Insurance until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bobby Shiller. She is survived by her husband, Lavoie, children Jerry Dickerson and wife Misty, and Sherita Whitfield and husband Rod, four grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, sister Marilyn Artieschoufsky and husband Don, brother Billy Shiller and wife Dorothy, and sister-in-law Barbara Shiller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeron Dickerson, Brendyn Dickerson, Cody McGee, Eddie Dickerson, Greg Artieschoufsky, and Taylor McCay.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 8, 2017 at Providence Funeral Home.  Burial to follow at the Beaukiss Cemetery.
