Eddie was born on May 8, 1942 in Lovell, Wyoming, the first of seven children to Ambrosio (Bob) and Consuelo Carrizales. He married Elisa (Alice) Dominguez on April 12, 1964 in Taylor, Texas. To this marriage three children were born, two daughters and one son. Prior to Retirement he worked for HEB for 32 years as a Merchandising Manager. He then worked for Keebler, distributing snack products to stores throughout Central Texas. After Keebler he worked at Mustang Creek Golf course and Providence Funeral Home. This by far was his favorite place of employment where he made many friends. Eddie was a man who loved his family and enjoyed many days of watching his grandsons sporting activities and his granddaughters dance and cheer activities. His grandchildren were his greatest love and brought him much joy. Eddie’s home was a gathering place for family and friends. He never denied anyone at his home and many gathered there for Holidays, birthdays, Football game days or just any day of the week. He loved his backyard and loved to show it off. Eddie was a man of many words, some not nice, but always very honest. Due to his honesty he most likely made people mad, but you couldn’t help but love him.
Eddie is preceded in death by his parents and son Jonathan Carrizales. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, daughters Charlotte Herrera (James), and Pamela Evans (Dave), grandchildren Christopher Carrizales, Ilyssa and Bryce Carrizales, Lorenzo Sanchez and great-grandson Luke Edward Carrizales, his dog Madi and cat Simon.
