Douglas Ray Mikulencak

November 21, 1957 — April 27, 2020

Douglas Ray Mikulencak, 62, of San Antonio, departed this life on Monday, April 27, 2020 after a battle with multiple myeloma cancer.

Douglas was born on November 21, 1957 to Paul and Rosalee (Lefler) Mikulencak in Taylor. He moved to San Antonio in 1988 and worked as a concrete contractor and home builder. Douglas was a very happy, out-going person, helping many people all during his life. He loved to cook and BBQ. He also made the best apple pies. He loved his Lord and we look forward to seeing him in heaven.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Cofield; parents, Paul and Rosalee Mikulencak of Taylor; brother, Kevin Mikulencak and wife Cheryl of Taylor; nieces, Shelby Cain of Austin and Presley Mikulencak of Taylor; nephews, Joshua and Jacob Mikulencak of Taylor; stepson, Chance Cofield and wife Jaime of Spring Branch; granddaughters Grayson and Presley Cofield and grandson, Cannon Cofield all of Spring Branch; treasured cousin, Allan Lefler of Taylor;  cousin, Paulette Lanieri and husband Chris of Chatsworth, California; and many other cousins and friends.

Mr. Mikulencak will be available to view from 12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 until 2:00 PM on Friday, May 8, 2020. Family will be present from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday, May 8, 2020. A Celebration of Life for Doug will be held privately and will be live streamed via Providence Funeral Home Facebook Page beginning at 2:30 PM on Friday, May 8.
