Dora F. Brock

Dora Frances Brock of Bartlett went to Heaven on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the age of 95.

Dora was born on November 27, 1923 to Azzie Lee and Buelah (Brown) Bell as the eighth child of 12. Mrs. Brock was a homemaker, seamstress, quilter, avid gardener.  She helped her husband, John, with farming and raising cattle. She was a member of the Davilla Baptist Church, which she joined at the age of 11.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Max Shelton and John G. Brock.

Dora was survived by 4 children, Donald Shelton and wife, Marjorie of Cameron, Ronald Shelton and wife, Gloria of Cameron, Rickey Brock of Georgetown, and Margie Brock Light and husband, Randy of Sherman Texas; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Minnie Lee Walker; brother, Gordon Bell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dora's family will be holding a memorial service at the Davilla Baptist Church on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11:00am.
