Donna Miller

Donna Jean Miller, passed away peacefully in her home on March 28, 2022. Donna was born to Roy James and Verna Mae (Bachmeyer) Harwood, in Taylor, Texas, on Novemebr 6, 1947. She graduated Taylor High school in 1966, and attended Sam Houston State University where she  was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1969 and went on to joined the Houston Police Department. After twenty-three years of service with the Houston Police Department, she retired a Sergeant with the Homicide division.

Donna went to work for Safariland as a sales representative, then worked for SIG arms as a National Sales Representative for law enforcement and the military.

She is survived by her partner in life, Billy Mucha, her son, Brandon Miller, granddaughters, Lydia Anne Miller and Shelby Lynn Miller, and great-grandchildren, Catherine Lynn Johnson, and Oliver James Johnson, and many loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to Trinity Lutheran Church, Taylor, Texas.
