Donald Pullings was born on November 20 , 19 4 6 in Morriston, FL , to the late James Pullings and Aldonia Moton Pullings .  He departed this life on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Ascension Seton Williamson in Round Rock, Texas after a brief illness .

When I’m Gone

Please don’t say how good I was but that I did my best.

Please don’t give me wings or a halo, that’s for God to do.

I want no more than I deserve, no more extras, just my due.

When you draw a picture of me, don’t draw me as a Saint.

I’ve done some good; I’ve done some wrong so use all your paint,

Not just bright and light tones use some gray and dark,

In fact, don’t put me down on canvas just paint me in your heart.

Don’t remember the bad for life is full of many things, some happy, some sad, but if you must do something, I have one request, forgive me for the wrong I’ve done and with the life that’s left,

Thank God for all who loved me and praise God who loved me best.
