Dolores Larson

March 27, 1942 — March 2, 2021

Dolores (Lola) T. Larson 78, Taylor Tx passed away on March 2, 2021 in Temple Tx. Dolores was born in Taylor, TX to Vicente and Paula Torres on March 27, 1942. She married Carl John Larson on April 16, 1966 in Granger, Tx. She worked as a cashier for HEB for 22 years.

Lola was larger than life, in her recent years her humor brought us joy and her love brought us comfort.

Growing up Lola would travel to North Dakota with her family to work in the fields. This is where most family members learned to drive.

Lola enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking and baking.

If she were to bake a cake for anyone, the cakes were never small. Much like Lola’s love the cakes were larger than life.

She loved cooking, you all probably remember her “Lola Burgers”. They were famous at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church Fiesta’s.

She was a daughter, sister, niece, aunt, mom, Momo and a friend. She cared so deeply about her family and friends and never let them forget it, she touched each life she encountered and were so fortunate to have had many precious moments with her.
