Denell Ross

Denell Ross was born to Charlie and Addie Ross and called home on Monday, May 17, 2021.

She grew up in Taylor where she worked at Sweet Briar Nursing Home for 35 years as a head Dietary Supervisor. Most importantly, she was a Godly woman who loved going to church every Sunday at Zion Chapel Baptist Church. She later became a member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where she worked within the church as well. She was a great sister, Auntie, and friend who fought a long battle, but stayed true to her faith in God.

Denell is preceded in death by her mother Addie Ross, father Charlie Ross, brothers Sonny Ross, Charles (Pony) Ross, Jr., and Charlie James (CJ) Griffin, and sisters Dorothy (Doll) Smith, and Erlee (Sis) Hamilton.

She is survived by her brother James Earl Ross, sisters Bassie Mack and Inez Ross, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
