Demetra Jean Shiller

Demetra Jean Shiller, 90, of Taylor Texas departed for her heavenly home on Friday, April 17, 2020 in Round Rock, TX.

Demetra was born, April 16, 1930 in Taylor, Texas to Louis and Vlasta Stasny and lived her life in Taylor, Texas. Before her retirement she worked at HEB in Taylor. Her time was spent with her husband doing all the things they loved; fishing, playing cards and dominoes with friends, and enjoying time with their family. She was a lifetime member of the Taylor Brethren Church in Taylor, Tx.

She is preceded in death by her Dear husband, Gilbert of 69 years; her parents; her brother Delmore Stasny, sister-in-law Bennie Stasny; brother and sister-in-laws Sadie and Edwin Turek, Leon and Lydie Shiller

She is survived by daughters Gloria Wuthrich (Mike) and Karen Richter (Randall); sons Randy Shiller (Molly) and Larry Shiller (Beverly); granddaughters Melissa Smith (Richard), Tamara Alcoser (David), and Randa Shiller (Chris Brandt); grandson Bryan Wuthrich (Sherry); great-grandchildren Allison Wuthrich; Jabin, Peyton, and Khloe Alcoser; Pepper and Amelia Brandt; and great-great grandson Jaxson Wuthrich. Demetra is also survived by brother John Stasny (Dottie Davis) and sister-in-law Janie Stasny; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Special Thanks to the Nursing and Physician staff at Round Rock Baylor Scott and White Hospital for the care and compassion given to Demetra and her family during this difficult time.

Demetra’s greatest joys were her family and friends, she always had a smile on her face and love in her heart. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
