Darrell Lee Hall, 60, of Taylor went to be with his heavenly Father Monday, March 1 st , 2021.
Darrell was born on May 2 nd , 1960, in Taylor, to Gerald Ray Hall and Nancy Tiemann-Hall. He grew up with two brothers, Dudley and Darren Hall. Darrell graduated from Thrall High School in 1978. He married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Donna Eiben Hall, on November 3 rd , 1979 in St. Peter’s Church in Coupland. Together, they raised four children: Zachary, Julia, Catherine, and Olivia. Darrell owned and operated a home construction company, D. H. Hall Construction, which he started in 1983. He also spent 18 years working for the city of Round Rock as a Senior Building Inspector. Darrell had a servant’s heart – he served on the Thrall ISD school board for 16 years, the Noack water board, and as a deacon at St Peters in Coupland. He was a member of First Baptist Church Taylor. Above all Darrell cherished the Lord, his loving wife, children, and grandchildren.
Darrell is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Modene Hall, Henry and Julia Tiemann; and father, Gerald Ray Hall. Darrell is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Donna Eiben Hall; children, Zach Hall (Tiffany), Julia Stanford (Jared), Catherine Scruggs (Kollen), Olivia Hall, and Taylor Whistler. He is also survived by six beautiful grandchildren: Greyson and Hunter Hall, Ava, Emily and Beau Stanford and Harper Scruggs. Survivors also include his mother, Nancy (Howard Leschikar), his brothers, sisters in law, brother-in-law, and many family members. He is also survived by many friends, and his children’s friends, that he loved like his own.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 4 th , 2021 at Providence Funeral Home. His celebration of life will be held at 2 pm on Friday, March 5 th , 2021 at First Baptist Church Taylor. Burial will follow at Adina Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Tate, Tommy Hanover, Rusty Burns, Ross Rinderknecht, James Shine, and Mark Remmert. Memorial contributions can be sent to First Baptist Church Taylor, St. Peter’s Church Coupland, or St. John’s Church Thrall. Darrell’s ultimate desire would be for everyone to know and love Jesus Christ.
