Danise Marlene Jordan

Danise was born at St. David’s Hospital in Austin, Texas, on June 7, 1960. She was raised by her loving grandparents, D.D. & Lillie Belle Godwin. She is survived by her spouse, Joe Knock; her daughter, Lacey Williams and her husband, Jesse Williams Jr. and grandchildren Jaxon & Brooklyn of Georgetown. She is also survived by her Aunt Cathy and Uncle Tex Davis; cousin, Mike Davis & Family of Pleasanton, Texas, and countless friends that she considered part of her family.

Danise worked for the Williamson County Sheriff’s office for 20 years and retired in 2017. Her grandparents D.D. and Lillie Belle Godwin farmed and ranched in Georgetown during their lifetime. Her grandfather also built the 3-way grain and the Georgetown Rodeo Arena that was in San Gabriel Park. Danise loved riding horses in her younger years, especially her dear horse, Charlie Brown. She also loved dirt track races and football; she would watch nearly every game and keep track of everything in her notebook. She loved spending time with her grandkids (Jaxon & Little Tut. AKA Brooklyn). They were her whole world.

Danise’s family is heartbroken over her sudden loss and while her absence will leave a hole in their heart, they rest peacefully knowing that Danise knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Also knowing that she is resting at the feet of Jesus. She was surely welcomed with open arms by her Grandparents, D.D & Lilly Belle Godwin; her birthmother, Jean Tuggle; her longtime friends Billy & Charlene Freeman, and her dear niece Meghan Ramirez.

We are honored and blessed by the time we had with her on Earth. We Love You Danise, Mom, Mammaw & Friend. Watch over us until we meet you on the other side for Eternity.
