Daniel Saegert

December 10, 1941 — May 26, 2021

Daniel “Dan” Saegert

Dan was born in Lincoln, Texas, on December 10, 1941, and passed away on May 25, 2021.  Being a native Texan, Dan was a man of many talents who often gave of himself to help others.

While there are many things that stand out, he will allows be remembered for his ability to fix anything, his extraordinary wit, and above all else his ability to love others.  He showed by example his faith, whether it be by caring for friend, always being positive, keeping his word, never lying, or simply reaching out … “to see how you’re doing.” Although he will be missed, his legacy will always remain through his family, his friends, and the countless people he touched throughout his life.

Dan is survived by Judy, his beloved wife, sisters Norma and Cleo, sons Mark and Michael, grandsons Stephen and Joseph, and extended family and friends.

The family asks that in honor of Dan that you give to the restoration of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and School in Taylor Texas
