Daniel Aguillón received his angel wings on Sunday, October 18, 2020. He was sixteen years old. Although his time with us was brief, Daniel touched and enriched many lives. His life was one of excitement, humor, and happiness. Daniel was always trying to make others laugh; he loved playing pranks on his family and friends, and especially his sister Jaslyn, who he loved with all of his heart. Regardless of where he was going, Daniel always made sure he was dressed to impress. He was the life of the party, the best story-teller, and the most protective family member and friend. Daniel lived life loudly and fearlessly. He adored his mother, Belinda, and always made sure to tell her he loved her. He looked up to his father, Marco, and saw him as his role model in everything he did. He loved his aunt JoAnn “JoJo”, uncle Jesus, cousin Robert and his kids—Xandra Mae and Penelope. JoJo and Jesus were like a second mother and father to Daniel and he spent every moment he could with their family.
Daniel is preceded in death by his grandmother Ana Maria Martinez, grandfather Arturo Martinez, and his uncles Arnold and Alex Martinez. Daniel is survived by his mother Belinda Martinez; father Marco Aguillón; sisters Jaslyn Maldonado and Lulu Rodriguez; uncles Arturo, Samuel, and Michael Martinez; aunt Cynthia Martinez, and many extended family members who loved Daniel very much.
We will always remember Daniel’s infectious laugh, his radiant smile, and his caring personality. Although we miss Daniel tremendously and our hearts ache for him, we know he is busy starting a party in Heaven.
