Cynthia Barnett

Cynthia (Cindy) Barnett, age 70, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. She was born on June 12, 1950 to Fred and Elizabeth Gilreath in Henderson, NC, graduated from West Henderson High School in 1968, and later married Tony Barnett on April 19, 1969.

Cindy loved working in her yard, feeding the birds, and planting flowers as she would butterfly bushes so she could watch them in her yard.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Freddy Gilreath and wife Linda, Mike Gilreath, Richard Gilreath, and brother-in-law Mike Bradley and survived by Tony Barnett, daughter Wendy Barnett Hernandez, grandson Nicholas Holgerson, sisters Kathy Bradley, Barbara Green, and sister-in-law Jackie Gilreath.
