Cristino Gonzalez Villarreal, 89 of Taylor,Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2,2025 surrounded by his loved ones.
Cristino was born on July 24,1935 in Elgin, Texas to Jose Maria and Julia Villarreal. He grew up with his three brothers and two sisters He was the eldest of the family.On April 24,1960 he married the loved of his life, Gloria Alderete, who blessed him with five children. They shared their love together for 64 years. He proudly served in the Texas National guard in the 49th armed of Taylor,Texas. He built his career as a truck driver over the span of 60 years driving around the State of Texas.
Cristino was loving and devoted to his wife, a caring father and proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed ministering of God to others, singing gospel hymns, fishing, carpentry, garnering and watching sports. His teachings and legacy of love, compassion, faith and family will live on in the hearts of this who loved him.
Cristino is proceeded in death by his parents, brother Eusebio, sister Pauline, daughter Lydia and son-in-law Valerio. He is survived by his wife Gloria, and Children Pauline (Fernando), Robert (Elizabeth), Cristino Jr. (June) and Susie (Kenneth) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are sons Robert Villarreal, Cristino Villarreal Jr and grandsons Thomas Villarreal, Jaycen Yanez, Eric Sherek, Joshua Villarreal
