Connie Rae Naivar

Connie Rae (Kaiser) Naivar was called to the Lord on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Cornerstone Hospital in Round Rock, Texas, at the age of 76.  She was born on September 2, 1944 to Carl Gordon Kaiser and Hazel Pauline (Bernhardt) Kaiser in Taylor, Texas.

Connie grew up in Taylor.  She graduated from Taylor High School in 1962, and met the love of her life, Benjamin J. (Benny Joe) Naivar, during her high school days.  They were married on September 7, 1963 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and spent over 57 years together.  The two enjoyed visiting family and friends and took trips throughout Texas and the United States.  They were instrumental in organizing a Naivar Reunion each year and spent many days sharing a meal and conversation with others at Sirloin Stockade in Taylor.

Connie graduated from Nixon Clay Business College and was employed by the State Comptroller Department in Austin, followed by a few years at First Taylor National Bank.  She later spent many years with the Johns Community Hospital, where she served as the Internal Auditor before her retirement.  She enjoyed volunteering with the Hospital Auxiliary and the St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store in Taylor.  Connie looked forward to spending time and living on the farm with her husband Benny.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and most recently husband Benjamin J. (Benny Joe) Naivar.

Connie is survived by children Charlotte and Brian.  Her grandchildren include Jamie, Tabetha, Ben, Bryce, Alexandra, and Joseph and great grandchildren are Kamyllia, Bonnie, Junior, Jericho, Marie, and Charles.  She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
