Cody Dalton Strmiska

Cody Dalton Strmiska, 26, of Granger was called home by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 26 ^th , 2020.  He was born on January 12, 1994 to Kimberly Strmiska Hauger in Temple, Texas.  Cody attended SSCM Catholic School and graduated from Granger High School in 2012 where some of his best moments were playing football and basketball for the Granger Lions.  Cody brought joy to our lives.  He always had a warm smile and gave the best hugs.  He made friends easily with his humorous nature, quick wit, and compassionate heart.  He loved watching sports on TV, fishing, and going to the lake with family.  Cody worked as a maintenance tech for the Wesleyan at Estrella in Georgetown for several years and most recently excelled at new talents at Hang’em High Taxidermy in Granger where his many artistic skills were most fully displayed.

Cody is survived by his mother and step-father, Kim and Tony Hauger of Granger; Sister, Ciera Strmiska and nephews, Jay Eddie, Maximus, and Easton Anderson of Bartlett.  Grandparents, Margaret Strmiska and Steve Korczynski, Bobby and Susan Strmiska.  Great-Grandmothers, Josephine Strmiska and Bernice Jezisek all of Granger.  Father, Michael Biehle and Grandparents, Rodney and Karen Biehle of Cedar Park and numerous Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins.  Cody is preceded in death by his Great-Grandparents, Waldemar and Albina Beyer, of Corn Hill and his beloved, Po-Po Fred Strmiska, of Granger.

A visitation will be held from 6-8pm Wednesday September 30, 2020 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am Thursday October 1, 2020 at Calvary Cemetery in Granger.
