Clinton Royce Masters was 52 years of age when he passed away on August 23, 2021. On his mother's birthday, February 28, 1969 in Austin TX. he was born to Richard and Loretta Masters. Later in life Clint moved to Taylor, attended First Baptist Church where he met Temple and remained long time friends. Clint married his longtime friend, Temple on October 10, 2009.
Clint was an individual who could be friends with anyone. He worked hard for his family, and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Clint was always ready to be part of any group whether it had to do with drag racing, engine building or just hanging out with a group of friends. Clint had strong faith and love in the Lord that he expressed in his daily life. Clint was always ready to give a 'hug' to anyone.
Clint spent his younger years in Cedar Park TX. and graduated from Leader High School. He attended Universal Technical Institute in Houston resulting in a pathway for Master Technician Auto and Heavy Equipment. Clint moved around to multiple jobs to increase his expertise in his field. His skills included working on heavy machinery, welding, electrical, hydraulics and demolition of buildings in central TX. Clint was always patient and able to share his skills with fellow staff members.
Clint is survived by his daughter, Madison Masters and his sons Jordan Masters, Gaven Ivey, and Micheal Joe Ivey; his father and mother, Richard and Loretta Masters; a brother and his wife, Richard and Tae Ja Masters; a sister and her husband, Sheila and Gary Sodergren; nephew, Joe Sodergren; niece, Sara Sodergren; and multiple cousins.
Clint has many friends and knows that he is loved. Clint and the Masters family understand if you will not be able to attend services due to COVID, there will be a virtual option for your viewing, Please be Safe.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021, at the Providence Funeral Home Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the Providence Funeral Home Chapel.
Following the service, Clint and his beloved wife, Temple, will both be laid to rest at the Taylor City Cemetery.
