Clifton J. Stacha, Jr.
(February 4, 1947 - March 9, 2021)
Clifton Joe Stacha, Jr., age 74, was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 surrounded by family at his residence in Taylor, Texas.
Clifton was born to Clifton Stacha, Sr., and Dorothy Mikulencak Stacha Markert on February 4, 1947.
After graduating from Thrall High School in 1965, Clifton proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970. He was an employee of IBM for 30 years and then spent 10 years working for Taylor ISD. Clifton enjoyed farming, ranching, and getting his hands on anything that needed fixing. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t take apart and then put back together making it better than it was before; we always called him a jack of all trades.
On January 19, 2002 Clifton married the love of his life, Carolyn Krieg Stacha and the couple has been blessed with 19 wonderful years together.
Clifton is preceded in death by his father, Clifton Stacha Sr.; father and mother in-law, Edwin Krieg Sr., and Lillie (Simcik) Krieg; and brother in-law, Edwin Krieg Jr.
Mr. Stacha is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn (Krieg) Stacha of Taylor; mother, Dorothy Markert of Hutto; sister, Brenda (Randy) Ivy of Pflugerville; sisters in-law Dianna (Roderick) Wesley, Rhonda Krieg of Pflugerville; stepchildren, Darrell Faykus (David) of Houston, Kimberly (Mike) Zycha of Taylor; and his beloved dog Maggie Mae, who, in 2011 was the one who let him know he was having a heart attack.
Pallbearers will be Charles Mikulencak, Darrell Mikulencak, Chet Mikulencak, Larry Raesz, Herbert Raesz, and Lee Campos. Honorary pallbearers are Darrell Faykus, David Corvera, Roderick Wesley, Randy Ivy, Ralph Breed, Jim Blain, Anthony Krieg, and Xavier Horn.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Taylor Brethren Church or the organization of your choice.
