Cherry Lynn Tag

On July 10, 2023, God called Cherry Lynn (Menzel) Tag home.

Cherry was born February 6, 1957 to Cecil & Shirley (Moerbe) Menzel in Taylor, Texas. She was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran in Thorndale & confirmed her faith at Redeemer Lutheran in Lubbock, Texas.

She grew up in Thorndale, Slaton (TX), and Bokchito (OK). Cherry graduated with honors from Bokchito High School.

Cherry worked as a dental assistant for 30 years, and she loved to read.

On February 5, 2000, she married Ronny Tag.

She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her husband Ronny Tag; children Justin Davidson (Kim Adkin) & Rheannon Pierce and husband Ricky Pierce. Step children David Tag & wife Kara, Amy Verworn & husband Brodie, Rachel Tag & husband Nathan. Grandchildren Jackson, Ashlyn, Isaac. Brother Frank Menzel & wife Mary. Sister Lori Lanfear & husband Karry. Nieces and nephews Clay Menzel and wife Nicholette, Leslie Hubbard & husband Aaron, and Cheyanne Lanfear. Her grand-dogs Stumpy, Winnie, and Binx. And numerous first cousins and extended family.
