Charles "Charlie" DeLuna 57, of Taylor went to be with his heavenly Father on Sunday August 15 ^th , 2021

Charles (THE LEGEND) DeLuna was born on December 4, 1963, in San Antonio, Texas, to Zeferino Valdez DeLuna and Mildred Elizabeth Grun

He grew up with 1 brother, Steven, and 3 sisters Robyn, Rhonda, and Becky.

Charles graduated From Taylor High School in 1982 and went on to pursue a degree in professional painting.

He married Charlotte Thornton on May 3, 1986, at Christ Fellowship Church in Taylor to this Marriage came 3 children: Tena, Susan, and Matthew

Charles owned and operated Charlies Painting CO Est in 1995 and is still going strong today.

Among his love for painting, he loved storytelling but, above all, Charles loved serving the Lord by loving his family, his friends and wheelin' and dealing'.

Charles is proceeded in death by his parents, Zeferino Valdez DeLuna, Ron and Mildred Neel

He is survived by his lovely wife of 36 years Charlotte; children Tena, Susan (Freddy) and Matthew; 9 grandchildren; sisters Robyn, Rhonda, and Becky; brother Steven and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6pm to 8pm, Thursday August 26 ^th , 2021, at Providence Funeral Home

Funeral: 10am, Friday, August 27 ^th , 2021, at Providence Funeral Home with burial following in Taylor City Cemetery
